Safe to store my 16oz propane can indoors? - is it safe to store propane indoors
I bought a propane heater for use in the Saturday market, as it had begun to snow, and 2 cans of 16 oz Everything I read says something, they should be stored at the outside, but I live in an apartment, I have no choice. Is there a safe way to save from the inside? What happens when you are empty?

Propane is odorless and colorless in its natural state. A chemical (mercaptan) is added to all consumers to use propane to give a strong odor. You know, if you have a leak! It smells of boiled cabbage or rotten eggs. It is heavier than air, it accumulates in deeper layers. N musunderstand the term "river", you do not see a puddle of liquid! The propane storage and handling regulations require that are stored outdoors. That said ... I am a gas technician and trainer licensing industry. I have two of them in my basement!
Just make sure to store them upright and in a place as cold as possible. Preferably, airy. Not buried in the back of the cupboard in an airtight bag or backpack or something ...
This bottle is empty or full, classified as dangerous goods and therefore can not throw if they are empty. It must be left to a household hazardous waste, or at least Propaneand the gas station, where they can be safely disposed of.

Yeah, okay, save it in the interior. The reason they say it is because propane is heavier than air and swimming in the pool when it emerges.
