As already indicated, a supplement with glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM to be useful. Glucosamine and Chondroitin to support cartilage repair and lubricate the joints and the MSM is a natural anti-inflammatory. As a rule they want, that glucosamine and MSM are the same amount - work better together than alone. Talk to your veterinarian about the proper dose. You do not buy from your vet, but I Glyco-Flex III is with my dog and G3 synovium very similar. Most others do not contain enough MSM. These bonuses can be safely used with NSAIDs (such as NOVOX) and will be one months time to see any advantage.

Some people report success with supplements of Omega 3, again for its anti-inflammatory.

If you can keep your little guy go, it helps. You can pick it up and furniture or for measurements and light exercise and walking or swimming belt, is useful.

You really need to about your weight - extra weight means extra stress on the joints, so thatMaintaining a healthy weight.

If it seems too stiff when you wake up, you can passively move the joints through their mobility (for setting) to warm up before exercise.

Probably suspect that your veterinarian Rimadyl, which may help a bit with arthritis is prescribed, but I personally had a golden retriever of 10 years in the drug for more than a year with no improvement in their mobility. What I found to work best, is a joint supplement with MSM, Glucosamine and chondroiton (spelling) is very important that all contain these three things because they help all people to work more effectively. Also convenient locations for the dog, the easy to enter and leave. Normally, the use of beds for dogs that are not reviewed and fluffy. Gentle exercises to prevent relaxation of the muscles, joints and helps to gain weight, that arthritis can make worse. You can also use Google dog massage and learn a few simple strokes you can give your dog a few times a week.
A combination of these things help you should your dog comfortable. Good luck!

Glucosamine and Chondroitin MSM is the first thing to try.

I also had acupuncture on my dog for arthritis, with mixed results.
