Are commercial real estate prices destined for the same fate as what's happened in the housing market? - commercial real estate scotland
The CMBS market is paralyzed and CMBX said that prices will fall by 23 percent over the next three years. There is a great interest in the commercial real estate mortgage portfolio of CMBS and many of these five-year grace period will begin. If a recession is imminent and the borrower can not meet their needs for debt management under the re-write - I think we have a repetition of what is happening in the world of danger.

The market for commercial real estate is much broader and more dynamic than the housing market. There are different types of property, including the qualification, which rarely move in harmony. The species of the basic characteristics are: retail, office, residential, industrial and multifamily. The health of each of these markets is mainly determined by supply and demand. The offer is measured by the speed of the body, while the demand is a function of climate change underlying business.
The economic slowdown hurts demand, but these markets are responding very slowly. Have in our current economy, the problems that we have seen largely on the consumer side have been. Business loans tend to be more conservative and closer scrutiny by the banks.
I hope that the commercial market housing through this crisis and not the experience of seizures and deflation of the value we have seen in-part remains stable.
They have a good argument, as always.
It seems that the U.S. is heading in that direction.
